OUR MISSION
The mission of Inclusion Connections is to strengthen the lives of individuals with disabilities by creating inclusive opportunities for community involvement, access to meaningful employment, and better options for independent living.
Each year the Kansas City community comes together at Gala FashionAbility to celebrate the accomplishments, hopes and dreams of individuals with disabilities. Funds raised ensure they receive the education, fitness and arts, and access to PawsAbilities skills training and meaningful jobs they desire and deserve!
Impact of Money Raised
- serve individuals with developmental and other disabilities ages 8-40, full-time PawsAbilities day program, plus continuing education in evening (169 students served and 1,488 programming hours offered in 2020)
- provide young adult jobholders with ongoing support including job coaching and transportation (82 students in 2020)
- take Mobile Pop-Up Store to businesses and events (75 in 2020)
- 687 trips to/from workplaces (none of our jobholders are able to drive)
- supportive living campus in planning stages
